Technology: Woodcut

The woodcut displays an ABC of 35 characters. The letters were created on a computer by myself, based on an existing antiqua font Baskerville. Which i put on a 3m long wooden plank and engraved them. Texts are the basic elements when visualizing informations and by digitalization they can be reproduced in the exact same way. During the process i was interested in what kind of changes can be occured by the handcrafted procedures.
